Access enclosures are custom fabricated to your specifications; some are stock items. You may call, email or fax over an inquiry or purchase order. Please provide stud spacing, and thickness of overall wall for measurements. We then set up a C.O.D. order for you. Please have a check ready when product is delivered, or set up a credit card order.
JJM CONSTRUCTION
JJM Construction began with a general contractor, Jim McGrath. While working in the commercial construction industry, Jim found ways to expand his brand and began to sell access doors and other construction supplies. He secured a patent on his design of the JJM Fire Rated ACCESS ENCLOSURES. Each JJM Fire Rated ACCESS ENCLOSURE is designed to be used in Elevator Hoist ways and all new MRL Elevator Installations to house smoke detectors/heat sensors.
To fulfill the State Elevator Inspector and State Fire marshal requirements on your projects, JJM Construction provides an approved method for allowing smoke detectors and heat sensors inside restricted areas such as inside elevator hoist ways, machine rooms, and other restricted areas, while remaining serviceable from outside.
The JJM CONSTRUCTION FIRE RATED ACCESS ENCLOSURES
JJM Construction's proprietary product utilizes a UL labeled door, self closing, self locking, spring loaded, concealed hinged door. The full assembly has 18gage welded expanded metal attachment with an adjustable shelf to allow horizontal smoke detector/ heat sensor installation inside the hoist way, but accessible from outside the hoist way.
Permissible for elevator wall construction in the elevator hoist way, our design has been approved by State Elevator inspectors and State Fire Marshals at inspection every time. Our enclosures are custom made to your specifications on your project.
The enclosures are custom made and delivered to the customer within 14 business days of placed order. Special orders may take a bit longer. Our brochure shows most commonly ordered sizes.
